With a strong academic background in languages and over four years of tutoring experience, I specialize in English Language and Literature comprehension, interview preparation, and conversational English. My approach blends academic rigour with creativity and a deep understanding of linguistics, helping students express themselves confidently in both formal and social contexts. I have also developed bespoke courses to prepare students for entry into top UK independent schools.
I currently tutor students in English comprehension, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, and exam preparation through BE Education and Shanghai Young Direction Information Consulting Co., Ltd.
In partnership with Young Direction, I created a tailored course titled Interview and Social Preparation, which develops language fluency and confidence for school interviews and everyday conversation. This course has evolved into a holistic ESL programme, incorporating reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
My lessons are personalized to match each student’s language level and interests. Activities such as debates, presentations, interview practice, and sales-pitch simulations are used to encourage natural conversation and the development of self-expression in English.
I also have experience creating educational content and representing academic companies, which informs my lesson planning and material development.
